HERIT-AI-GE: Digital Futures for Cultural Heritage – Winter School
The University of Kassel brought together an extraordinary group of students from three countries for a one-week workshop: “Living with the Fulda.”
“HERIT-AI-GE: Digital Futures for Cultural Heritage” is a three-day international winter school hosted by Galala University that explores the intersection of (artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and cultural heritage preservation). The program brings together academics, researchers, and students to investigate innovative approaches for heritage revitalization, urban regeneration, and digital documentation through lectures, workshops, and hands-on applications. Participants will engage with topics such as heritage area regeneration, generative AI for urban heritage development, analytical frameworks for cultural heritage assessment, and advanced 3D scanning technologies. The winter school aims to equip participants with cutting-edge digital tools and methodologies for preserving, analyzing, and transforming cultural heritage sites while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and sustainable heritage futures.
