Heritage for Tomorrow Integrated Urban Rehabilitation

The forth workshop aimed to explore innovative strategies and tools for the integrated rehabilitation of Bazar Abbas in the historic core of Port Said and its surrounding neighbourhoods. This workshop covered a variety of topics including the adaptive reuse of Port Said built heritage, preservation of intangible heritage and city rebranding, public space improvement and environmental sustainability, promoting cultural tourism and socio-economic development, as well as integrating sustainable mobility and infrastructure. This unique opportunity offered all participants a comprehensive understanding of urban rehabilitation and heritage preservation.
