The Architecture Research Center for Heritage (ARCH) is dedicated to preserving, studying, and reimagining architectural heritage through innovative research and interdisciplinary collaboration. ARCH encompasses the Legacy Lab, housing archives of renowned Egyptian architects; the Red Sea and Suez Canal Architecture Forum, fostering dialogue on the region’s unique built environment; the Industrial Heritage Hub, exploring the architectural and cultural significance of Egypt’s industrial past; and the Heritage and Theory Atelier, bridging traditional and contemporary architectural practices. Together, these initiatives aim to safeguard Egypt’s architectural legacy while inspiring future generations to engage with and reinterpret their cultural heritage.
