NOUR TAREK
Nour Tarek began her academic career with distinction, graduating as the top achiever with honors, which led to her appointment as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Architecture. In this role, she contributes to a wide range of courses including Design Studio, Smart Architecture, Building Technologies, Architecture, Society & Culture, Environmental Studies, and Urban Design. Alongside assisting in course delivery, she supports faculty members in course preparation, digital tools integration, and student project critiques. She also manages the faculty’s Virtual Reality and 3D Printing Lab, playing a key role in facilitating hands-on learning and emerging technologies within the academic environment. Additionally, she contributed to the development of this website under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Abdel Shakour.
Her academic excellence and active engagement led to her selection as a research assistant in an international DAAD-funded project titled “Sustainable Future for Cultural Heritage,” in collaboration with University of Kassel and Carthage University. As a Project Assistant, Nour has been involved in organizing workshops, handling documentation and reporting, coordinating , and contributing to the development of scientific content for both online and on-site events. Her role reflects a strong intersection between academia, research, and professional practice, highlighting her commitment to advancing sustainable and culturally responsive architectural approaches.
