Focus
Sustainability & Performance
Students earning LEED certification during their studies demonstrate a strong grounding in sustainability developed through 𝗨𝗥𝗕𝟭𝟲𝟭 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗥𝗖𝟭𝟲𝟭 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀. The courses focus on passive design, building physics, and climate-responsive strategies, exploring solar control, natural ventilation, and material performance. Through simulation-based analysis, students learn to optimize energy efficiency and integrate passive and active systems, preparing them to design environmentally responsive and near zero-energy buildings.
