BIG 5 Egypt Impact Awards 2025

The Faculty proudly celebrated the achievement of the project “Bazar Abbas: Port Said Recovery Lab,” which received the Conservation & Heritage Initiative of the Year award at the Big 5 Egypt Impact Awards 2025. This accomplishment resulted from a successful collaboration between Galala University, BTU Cottbus–Senftenberg, Al-Yakaniya for Heritage & Arts, Port Said Ala Adimo Initiative, and Port Said Governorate, alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team. The award recognized an innovative approach to heritage conservation, highlighting the project’s role in positioning cultural preservation as a driver for sustainable urban transformation.
